Accreditation for SASSPA Members
SASSPA feels that recognition by your professional association is
important so each SASSPA Member is given 1 point for every continuous
year of membership.You can also gain points for events and courses – see
below for details, but unfortunately if you fail to rejoin one year, the
accumulated points will be forfeited.
Statements, Certificates and Diplomas will be presented once a year
at the annual conference.
Accreditation Standards
10 Points = Statement of Accreditation
20 Points = Certificate of Accreditation
30 Points = Diploma of Accreditation
- Yearly membership of SASSPA - 1 point
- Attendance at a 1 day SASSPA Seminar - 1 point
- Attendance at a 2 day SASSPA Conference - 2 points
- Attendance at the SASSPA AGM - 2 points
- Article for Netlink - 2 points
- Relevant Professional Learning Certificates - 3 points
(ie Cert III, Cert IV through DET - You will need to provide
evidence of your attainments – photocopies will suffice.)
Determination for the allocation of points is by the SASSPA Executive
and all decisions are final.
